Kayak Contest Winner!
The Kayak raffle contest ran from May 1 to June 30th at the Athletic Club. Mari Friend of Sport Townsend provided the Kayak, oars, and life vest to the club at her cost, plus she matched the amount we made from the part of the proceeds from club membership sales during the raffle period. We also sold raffle tickets for $10 each. Altogether we raised $1,040.00 for the Friends of Parks and Recreation Jefferson County.
